inspired by the days when my older two little ones would still let me dress them up and take their picture, the shabby chic portrait package is specifically designed for children ages 3-9. no new clothes for this portrait session! we will create an ensemble from our shabby chic wardrobe. the wardrobe consists of some of my favorite and most cherished pieces from my children's childhood closet (along with many precious finds from estate sales and thrift stores).
the shabby chic look combines a whimsical assortment of materials, colors, textures, and vintage patterns, worn in layers and augmented with costume jewelry, a variety of different styled hats, handmade crocheted accessories, & beautiful scarves. parents - you are encouraged to bring along several signature pieces (very worn and LOVED!) from your child's wardrobe and a few sentimental toys to incorporate into the personalized shabby chic stylized session for your child.
